Did you know that lesbian and bisexual women die 20% and 37% sooner than heterosexual women? This alarming statistic highlights the urgent need for improved health care and support for these communities. In response, a network of Coachella Valley lesbian and queer women’s support groups is coming together to address these disparities and enhance health care in the valley.
To better understand and address the health needs of lesbian and bisexual women, these groups are conducting a survey. They are inviting community members to participate by either scanning a QR code or visiting the website bit.ly/ValleyHealth. The survey aims to gather valuable data that will inform future health initiatives and support services tailored to the unique needs of lesbian and bisexual women in the Coachella Valley.
