“There is no place like Palm Springs to celebrate the holidays, or simply cherish the winter solstice. This week, I enjoyed lunch outdoors with a visiting roadrunner, desert shrubs, Smoke Trees, wildflowers and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains. It provided an opportunity for reflection and acknowledgement of the land we live and work on today is the original homelands of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians who have stewarded this land throughout the generations and continue to steward this land for all future generations.
This time of year, offers a unique opportunity for gratitude and renewal and I find myself reflecting on enduring power of hope and the importance of standing firm in our faith, even in the face of darkness…””
