The fourth edition of PS HomeBoys’ Pride Under the Pines Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 12 noon at the Rustic Theatre in Idyllwild, California. Just 45 minutes from Palm Springs, this inclusive festival welcomes guests of all ages, races, and ethnicities, and is pet-friendly.
Attendees from across Southern California come together to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride, inclusivity, and community in a family-friendly setting with live music and dancing. The festival’s rustic mountain setting provides a perfect backdrop for forging new friendships and enjoying thrilling performances.
Event producers Niels Kosman and Jeremy Taylor are excited to celebrate the festival’s fourth year with incredible music, live acts, non-stop dancing, delicious food, and artisanal booths. Headlining the event is Kristine W, a legendary pop-singer-cabaret performer, known for her dance hits and energetic performances. Joining her is singer-songwriter John Duff, whose sultry voice and dance moves have made him a rising star in the gay pop scene.
Last year’s festival welcomed over 1,500 guests, and this year’s event aims to break that record. The festival will be hosted by Drag Out The Vote Superstar Sabryna Williams and her entourage, with DJ Galaxy providing dance beats throughout the day. For those seeking a VIP experience, the KGAY Party Bus offers round-trip transportation from Palm Springs, complete with all-you-can-drink cocktails and meet-and-greets with performers.
The Rustic Theatre will also host an interactive movie screening of “Hairspray” with John Travolta, featuring performances by a drag superstar cast. Local businesses in Idyllwild are excited to welcome festival-goers and benefit from the increased tourism.
Pride Under the Pines was created out of a love for Idyllwild and a sense of community. The festival has enriched the lives of nearly 7,500 attendees over the past three years.
