The Coachella Valley has started two weekly outdoor food events: Foodie Friday at the Palm Springs Cultural Center runs from 4 to 8 p.m. with food trucks and small-scale food producers. On Tuesdays through April 8, Tastes and Sounds of Cathedral City happens at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., featuring themed performances and local dining options. March 20-23 marks the return of Palm Desert Food and Wine with various tastings and classes.
